Location & Overview

Hamam Melouane is a commune and thermal town in the Blida province, located on the slopes of the Chréa/El‑Chréa mountains (Mounts of Chréa), about 36 km from the city of Blida, and 50–60 km south of Algiers.

The name literally means “the thermal bath of Melouane,” referring both to a natural hot-water source and the commune it gives identity to. It is recognized for its natural hot springs.
