Instructions:

  1. Mix the flour, melted butter or smen, salt, and vanilla. Gradually add water and orange blossom water to form a smooth dough.
  2. Prepare the almond and nut filling, mixing ground almonds, nuts, sugar, and a little orange blossom water.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into triangles. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each triangle and fold to seal.
  4. Arrange the triangles on a tray. Heat oil in a pan until hot but not smoking.
  5. Fry the samsa triangles until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Remove from oil and immediately dip in warm honey, coating each piece.
