Blida Riders is one of the largest mechanical sports clubs in Algeria. Based in the city of Blida, the club brings together motorcycle enthusiasts from across the region. Created during the French colonization, the Blida section of the Algeria Motor Club organized the first motorcycle competition in Blida on the Chréa road, on August 17, 1947. The local newspaper Le Tell de Blida covered the event.
